Installation Requirements
Electrical Requirements
- 120VAC, 60Hz dedicated circuit
- GFCI protection recommended but not required for Class II devices
- Wall box must be securely mounted to studs
Mounting Specifications
- Height: 48-54 inches from floor (optimal for standing clinician)
- Clearance: Minimum 3 inches from adjacent walls/obstructions
- Weight capacity: Wall must support 15 lbs minimum
Configuration Options
- Instruments: Coaxial ophthalmoscope + MacroView otoscope (most common)

Troubleshooting
Instruments Not Charging
Check: AC power to wall unit, charging contacts clean, handles properly seated in cradles
Incomplete Circuits
Check: Corroded charging contacts, damaged transformer, blown fuse (if equipped)
Preventive Maintenance
- Monthly: Clean charging contacts, verify secure wall mounting, test AC power
- Quarterly: Clean all surfaces, verify instrument function, check handle battery capacity
- Annual: Electrical safety testing, complete functional verification, replace consumables
